Decorate-orama

Dec 01, 2006 11:17

Today and probably tomorrow are going to be some serious decorating days. I’m about to decorate the office. Then at 1:30, about 4 of us are heading to Give Kids The World to decorate one of their villas. And either tomorrow or Sunday I’ll be doing my house. Whew. I honestly don’t love it. I enjoy the end result, but the process is more like a chore to me. Ah well. I suppose it’s better than sitting at this desk being bored, or doing work that sucks.

Casey finally finished her project at around 10:00 last night. Today she is cross-dressing, going to school dressed as Walt Disney. LOL. She’s actually just wearing her school uniform, which she never wears because 80% of the kids at her school don’t. It’s blue pants, a white polo shirt, and then she borrowed a blue tie from my dad. I made her an ID badge that has a picture of Walt and his name. I just did it on the computer, printed it and put it in the lanyard I wear to work. She can borrow it for today. She refuses to wear a mustache of any kind, but will be pulling her hair back into a ponytail holder so that it appears short when it’s time for her presentation. Fun stuff.

Tonight’s school dance is a masquerade ball. She said they are supposed to dress fancy too. So that’s another wardrobe issue we have to figure out.

So, she has officially started back with the children’s choir at the church. She had practice last night and they are singing at mass on Sunday. I saw about the last 20 minutes of practice. I’m pretty sure the director is gay now that I’ve watched him in action, so there goes our engagement. LOL. Speaking of that guy, boy can he pray. The previous directed usually said a brief prayer after practice, but he went all out. He had everyone gather at the altar and hold hands, and then he went into the LONGEST. CLOSING PRAYER. EVAR. It involved a lot of his own stuff, plus an Our Father AND a Hail Mary. I was trying to be a good influence on Casey and be patient and keep my head down and my eyes closed, but about halfway through, I just had to look at her and see if she was feeling the same way I was, which was “alright already!”, so our eyes met and we both almost burst into giggles. That would have been awkward. So I shut my eyes tight and bit my lip. LOL.

TV…

Andy wooing Pam on The Office is fantastic. Ed Helms is PERFECT on that show.

The OC - OMG, such chemistry between Ryan and Taylor! And I continue to freakin’ adore Seth and Summer. Loved the conversation where he tried to guess the bunny’s name. “You’re not Al.” And the line that made me laugh the hardest was Sandy’s… “She said Ryan was funny.” The delivery killed me.

As for Greys, I’m really over angry George. I mean, I get it. But still. I want Bambi back. I did love when Cristina said “Stop looking at me like that. It makes me nervous. It makes me feel like you haven’t been fed.” LOL

Gotta go decorate.
