Daytime Emmy Reactions

I did watch the Daytime Emmys last night since I am a soap watcher and have watched soaps since I was a very young girl.  One of my earliest memories is from when I was around 3-years-old and watching "Guiding Light" and "Young and Restless" with my parents.  :D  Yes, I said parents plural.  My father is actually a soap fan too. LOL  ;)  He used to be a HUGE GL fan, watched "Dark Shadows" as a kid, and has watched Y&R on/off ever since it first premiered in the 70s.  :D My younger brother is a Y&R fan too and was SO mad they didn't win last night.  LOL  ;)  So I grew up a soap fan and watched soaps now for about over 21 years.  LOL ;)

Anyway, I'm still bummed Y&R didn't win for Outstanding Daytime Drama.  :(  I think it's the BEST soap on right now, with "All my Children" 2nd, but those are the only 2 soaps I watch now.  LOL  ;)

I am EXTREMELY happy though that Billy Miller from Y&R won for Supporting Actor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  <3  He is a fantastic actor and I LOVE what he's done with his character Billy Abbot!!! :D  He was the perfect recast 2 years ago!!!  :D  Plus, he's totally hot!!! LOL  <3  I used to watch him on AMC as Richie as well, and Billy just keeps improving!!! :D  I think he's an actor to watch out for if he ever leaves soaps to primetime TV or movies!!! :D  Billy is totally one of my favorite actors and right up there with my usual list!!! :D  I'm just SO happy for him!!!  :D
