Ali has been having an exciting week. Or maybe my week has been exciting watching her.
Over the weekend she started really crawling. She then cruised about a foot and a half on Monday morning. She got to squish her toes in some lake mud. She also skinny-dipped with a man (ok, he's
angerona's baby, he's 19 months, but still) later that evening. Yesterday she crawled AWAY from me for the first time. Last night she slept for 5.5 hours in a row - must have been exhausted by all the new skills.
Now that I've written it all down, she'll probably stop doing those things for a while as has been the pattern.
UPD: Last night I was singing a silly song ("AaakUk, kak-kak-kak") because she was repeating kkkkkkk sounds all day, and she said kak-kak-kak! Quietly, but exactly the same way as I was saying it!
In other DYBRs, there is someone in the
september_05 community who's 34 weeks along. Baby will be 9 months in two days. Chinchilla, blin.
I like getting up with
bloguser in the mornings to make him lunch. I get to read quietly for a couple of hours, have a leisurely breakfast in front of LJ or GH Soapzone, or snooze if I really feel like.
I still haven't found my mysteriously vanished PDA, and I'm feeling like all my hard-won organization is slipping away. Boo.
The house just needs some final touches. Might put it on the for-sale-by-owner market today.
