This wasn't right at all. He had been on the way home from school, eager to get home and see Wormmon, maybe grab an after school snack. And then Daisuke was supposed to come over and study that evening. But that hadn't happened. Instead he found himself riding a strange train in a strange, drifting and changing world. It reminded the boy vaguely of the Digital World in some areas, but at the same time it didn't quite feel right. Something was different about it that he couldn't place his finger on.
As the train came to a halt at the station, he hefted his school bag and stepped off onto the seemingly abandoned platform. That voice had said to find the Overseer, right? Maybe whoever that was could help him get home.
