My mom called me at 6:30 this morning to let me know my grandpa past away. It is both a blessing and a tragedy. He is now with my grandma which is what he has been wanting for several months now. We received a call on Thursday night that Jan was in critical condition. We had already planned on going over the weekend to see her. We headed out around 2 and arrived there at 6. Thayne got a phone call from Sheldon last night - they are taking Jan off kemo yesterday. She has been struggling with her cancer the last few weeks. She had open heart surgery last week because she couldn't breath. Which helped but now the cancer is so bad that they can't do anything else.
