To those of you who write:
I've been wondering about this for a while. What is your absolutely favorite thing in the whole world to write? I'm not talking pairings or genres. I'm talking specific scenarios, like arguments or banter whatever else you can come up with? Is there one thing in particular you love writing so much that your fingers start to itch when you think about it?
Okay, this might make me sound like a sex-crazed freak (which, well, wouldn't be far from the truth), but mine is kissing. DUDE! I would write a whole freaking story about nothing but kissing if I could. Slow kisses, hard kisses, teasing kisses, angry kisses - whatever, man, it's ALL. GOOD. Screw the sex, let's have some more kissing!
I tend to make my descriptions of kisses as long as I can, because ... well, yeah. I love 'em. Everything that comes along with it, too - the flutter in your tummy, the sounds, everything. (I'm also a ridiculous romantic sap, in case that hadn't caught your attention.) I don't know, just ... reading them makes my stomach flutter, but writing them makes my fingers race over the keys like mad.
Hah. I know what I sound like, believe me. Alas, it is not to be helped. *headdesk*
