Now that the temps are back up to 70°F, I get a snow day.

I had planned a long weekend in Wimberley before I took my temp job, so I scrounged Monday off (Presidents Day, you know) to keep it a long weekend as planned.

I arrived at work today to find out I don't have a job.

So, I'm looking for a job.  Not today.  And not tomorrow.  And likely not for the rest of the week.  But soon, and for the rest of my life.

(...until I get a job).

I think I'll take a beer and a book to the front porch and enjoy the crisp blue sky.

Last week Becky left me a sample of Burt's Bees™ Bay Rum Moisturizing Creme.  I tried it out Saturday afternoon, and by evening I had a nasty blotch rash on my face and neck.  Gone the next morning.

The party Saturday once again was very good. I can't wait to see all the pictures people took so I can enjoy the parts of the party I missed. And the rain didn't come until the next morning. When TG and I recently went to Orlando, one day was spent at Epcot. While trying to get one FastPass set up and waiting for another, we stepped into the Journey Into Imagination With Figment in the The Imagination! Pavilion. We were the only ones on the ride, fairly early in the morning.
