Right now, I seem to be experiencing what I've termed "Lazy Muse Syndrome", wich is say, I uh, haven'tevenstartedwritingeitherofmyclaimsyet.
I know, more or less, what I want to do. The difficulty lies in actually getting myself to sit down at the computer, open up the Word program, and do it.

Well "thinking" counts as starting I'd argue! So you've started, just not... when it comes to the actual writing part.

I'm got some LMS myself. And some "No Libido" syndrome, too. Which is a problem for the Sam/Lee PWP.

Right now, I'm in that state where I have a million ideas--so the idea part of the muse is okay--but I can't concentrate well enough to turn them into good prose. I feel your pain, I do. Except maybe mine's like ADHD Muse Syndrome? :)

2. Okay... Hee! Lex Luthor! Wow. Now I gotta admit that made me giggle. I wish I had advice on finding a character's voice, especially Billy's. He really did get very little screen time in comparison to some of the others. Who are you pairing him with, may I ask?

My Sam/Lee PWP only has a slight and temporary glitch: I have no libido right now. I can't get in the mood for the dirty, halfway kinky idea I have. But I'm pretty sure once I am, it'll practically write itself, so I'm not worried about that one.

But the Sam/Helo Caprica Occupation fic... GAH. I've got a concept and mood in mind, and something like a story, but it's hard. I'm trying to write it in a slightly different way than I normally tackle stories--more fragmented rather than one straight scene--so I'm up against that.

And then there's Helo, who is not a nevernude, exactly (LOL, KC), but for a playful, rough-and-tumble guy, he seems kind of uptight about getting horizontal with anyone who's not Sharon. Or, right now, Kara. That's my big problem. The muse has decided angsty Helo/Kara might be fun, even though 1) I'm in a slashathon and 2) I don't think of Helo and Kara as being anything more than friends. I might've written some really angsty Kara/Helo sex just to get it out of my system. And it didn't work!But I'm

Well, even when I go for fragmented, it's still scene-y. It's just the way my muse is hard-wired. I'm jealous like hell of people who can write short, sparse, but really interesting and evocative stuff. Lyrical but not over the top melodrama, and not at all scene-driven. Like you. *iz jealous*

I might shape up that Helo/Kara as a separate project, but right now it's just ridiculous muse overflow...of talky, angry sex! WTF.

Plaecbo for me? Really? I would love you forever. I don't know why Helo feels he needs it, but he does.

Nothing says we have to have every story be all graphic. Sex off the page is cool, too. Especially when it's Helo and Lee. I haven't read much of that pairing.
