it really highlights what bad parents these people are that they are all literally shitting themselves&freaking out just because a pre-teen club of baby-sitters has broken up. these people don't know how to parent their children, nor do they want to even attempt to.--Agreed.
ugh. i can totally see that happening. i would've run away from home by now if i was mallory. no wonder she's got rock bottom self esteem and is so down on herself--And that could've also opened up some doors to really dig deep into Mallory's thoughts. I know from experience how poisonous it is to bottle up feelings. And like it's been said so many times before, Mallory doesn't really have anybody to really talk with.

same here. i feel really bad for mallory in these books, everyone treats her like shit, even jessi sometimes, &she has nowhere to turn. it's fucking sad.
