Bones lunch! Brief thoughts! WENDELLLLLLLL. I don't even know why I love Wendell so much, but I really, really do. His little face! And I kind of love that he's The Normal One, of all the interns. I missed the interns last week, so I'm looking forward to the revolving door starting its revolution again (I assume). Anyway, he is a sweetheart and they all love him and I am a sucker for "the team bands together to help out a teammate" storylines, so I was hook, line, and sinker on this one. (And the throwaway line about Zack. Ouch. *sadface* Mr. McK and I watched that episode the other night and we both cried, AGAIN.) I am confused about who the third donor was, though--Mr. McK's theory was that it was Angela, and that she got her dad to pony up. But I'm not sure. Was it supposed to be Cam? Not that it really matters, it was awwwwww either way, I'm just feeling dumb for missing it.
And there were SPYJINX. And Clarence Wiedman (OMG THAT WAS BUGGING ME THE ENTIRE EPISODE, I could remember him being named Clarence but not what I knew him from, THANK YOU IMDB)! And the obligatory end-of-episode "Booth and Brennan seriously have no personal space, NO SERIOUSLY, AWWWWWWW" moment! I was very well-pleased. I'm also kind of pleasantly surprised that they're continuing to leverage Booth's coma for some good character stuff--it makes me wonder if they're going to use it for something more significant down the line. It will be interesting to see!
Also, on a purely aesthetic note, I feel compelled to note that Cam and Angela wear really, REALLY nice clothes for people who are around really gross stuff all the time. I mean, I appreciate it! But it always makes me wonder what kind of intense protective material those lab coats are made from. Hee.
So: YAY BONES. \o/
How awesome is it that TNT is sort of the 24-hour Bones channel right now? I LOVE IT.
Also, unrelatedly (hey, I made it through a whole post without this earlier, I am a model of restraint): Cook and the guys have had a few days off (and Neal tweeted last night that he was starting an Exorcist marathon and he missed "that goddamn bus," D'AWWWWW, NEAL I LOVE YOU), and during this time, Cook has tweeted about:
- the very cute dog that he is intending as a gift for friends unless they can't take her, in which case he's keeping her (and dude, you're already referring to her as your other dog's "sister," you are SO keeping this dog)
- getting a new drum kit (yes, he plays drums, it's adorable, ENTRY-LEVEL RENAISSANCE MAN), and a piano (UNF)
- how he was attempting Teriyaki Pork Chops a la Dave, of which he then posted a picture, and... just... decent presentation, even! WHAT THE HELL, DUDE. WHAT. THE. HELL.
Do you see what a diabolical fiend this man is? It's so unfair. I AM ONLY ONE WOMAN. I ONLY HAVE SO MANY OVARIES. JEEZ.
