Saturday is normally the busiest day of parties, throngs of people and night showcases and this Saturday was no different. We started the day with quiche and then off to free bloody maries and tacos with a singer songwriter in the rain. Drinks drunk, tacos eaten it was off to see Oscar . They put on a terrific show. Tuesday and Wednesday were long and with the warm weather (in the 90's, WTH?) we were slapping on the sunblock and downing water like crazy. There's a coffeehouse/bar with four stages less than a mile from our house and there were three different record labels showcasing their acts. Gearing up for all the SXSW running around, band after band and free drinks I make an effort to have things in the magic white box (what the mister calls the refrigerator) that will help us hit the ground running with a good base.
