I would look at this a lot differently if what had happened here is that there is somebody inside one of these firms who found out what was being plotted and decided that it was just so extreme and so awful that they could not in good conscience allow it to remain concealed, and then decided they were going to blow the whistle on it, just some ( Read more... )

So golly gee whickers, isn’t the U.S. a marvelous beacon of light and good and all that? I really, really, really hate the recent forced linkage between YouTube accounts and Google Accounts. I have an ancient gmail account that I’ve used as my primary email, under my real name and real activities for a long time. I use a pseudonym for everything else - a distinction that becomes more and more difficult the more things are linked ( Read more... )
