It has been a month since hubby and I abandoned the children and headed off on our 10-year- anniversary trip to Chincoteague. Today, hubby and I were discussing some of our basic differences. For instance, he is risk averse and I jump right into things without thinking twice, or sometimes once even. This led to his uttering the quote that will come to define him: "Adventure is just another word for stress." How, how, how we remain married is beyond me.

I would like it written into the record that I am officially done with 2008. It has been a really horrid year.
