So today I was supposed to resynchronize to CET to work with a client in Germany during their working days. Nominally this entails getting up at 0100, but as this was the first day, we decided to pick up at 0430 (1030 CET). So I set my alarm for 0400 and went to sleep around 2200. Its 0342 here is dark Fellbach, and I'm up and running which can mean only one thing -- its flying time! At 0400 my team and I head for Die Airport, pile into aluminum tubes, and launch ourselves either across the Atlantic, the English channel, or in my case, both!

Today I arrived in Germany. The first thing that I noticed was that there is considerably less use of English in Germany than say, the Netherlands. Most people, however, still speak English rather well.
