Daisy sleeps in the kitchen. Sometimes she starts crying a few minutes after the door is closed on her. Finally got around to taking Daisy to the vet yesterday. No news is good news -- she's definitely showing signs of disturbed liver function with all the water she's drinking, and the vet gave me the name of some tablets or drops I can get for her at the chemist to boost her vitamin B12, but he basically repeated the same old mantra that as long as ( Read more... )

We are getting to the difficult stage with Daisy, I think. She is still doing everything she has done since she's lived with me -- eating, erm, demonstrating that she's eaten, crying for food, sleeping a lot, running around when she wants, walking around more frequently, jumping on and off chairs, cuddling in laps. Well, the what-the-HELL-can-I-wear-for-dining-at-Middle-Temple crisis is temporarily averted. I've just tried on the black dress I've had since I was fourteen, and miraculously it still does up.
