It's been HOT here.  That's HOT as in 'warm for the time of year', 'temperatures higher than seasonal average', and 'too warm for us'.

I was having a general look around The Body Shop today, as one does, and found myself thinking, "Boy, is this shop hot!"

Then I thought of my Gran, who used to like going round the shops, but would make the same complaint.  I smiled.

I found a bedside light for the spare bedroom, from Wilko.  It's got a cream ceramic base and a cream shade.  I even got a light bulb (ES, small) and a spare for it.  So that was good ( Read more... )

Yesterday around the middle of the day I caught the bus into town and visited the market.  The market is but a shadow of its former self, even what it was thirty-plus years ago.
