Morning, Dear Reader.  It's been raining here, all night and this morning.  Woot!  And W00t again!  I went to water some of the rather wilted-looking plants in our yard the other day only to find nothing coming out of either water butt tap.  We only have a small yard, and a smaller garden, but we have two water butts and both were empty ( Read more... )

That  was a good day.  Train to Romsey, for once no strikes on behalf of keeping guards on trains - that's next weekend.  Coffee in our favourite independent in Romsey, Teacups.  Then a quick scout round Romsey and the Saturday market.  Cheeeeese!

There now, I did it!  Almost anyway.

I went to Pilates this morning (still recovering, thank you for asking,) and had coffee with some of the class afterwards.  Then came home, pegged out (the towels) and, as promised/threatened, got on and dusted and Dysoned.

Somehow we'd managed to hear that the Gardening staff of the Duke of Norfolk had been busy.  They'd dug up a car park (the one near the top gate where people visiting the open air theatre during the Arundel Festival might park.  That's only two weeks of the year.  A garden is interesting for much longer; and, consequently, will generate more income ( Read more... )
