On being a good daughter (sort of)

It's over a month since I last went to see Mum.  That was during half-term, she was on her own, my sis having taken off with her family on a winter sun break, & various Church activities having been put on 'hold' for the Half Term as some of the members have school age children.  This week I hope to get in in ( Read more... )

First Day of Spring

Apparently today you can get an egg to stand on end.  I kid you not - Look even a cat can do it!   Actually, if you take a raw egg, a large flat surface &, possibly, some soft stuff & some waterproof (or even egg proof) stuff you could make an egg stand on end, even without snow/ plasticine etc, any day.
