I recently got an email telling me that I was accepted into the graduate program I applied to at Texas Tech. This is awesome in that it is the first program that I have heard from, and that they are offering me financial "support." I graduated college today. It was pretty awesome; I got to see my favorite professors and my thesis advisor didn't show. If you didn't know, she screwed me over on my thesis, so I postponed graduation for nothing, dropped a class for nothing, and didn't get honors. I am still a little pissed about it ( Read more... )

So I just dropped out of college. It isn't as bad as it sounds, but it does sound bad doesn't it. I finished my degree last semester, so I will still graduate, I was just taking one class, and failing it spectacularly. So the air in Boulder is filled with smoke. If this were April no one would be surprised, but as it is a very different kind of smoke things kinda suck. Four Mile Canyon is on fire, and is extremely close to Boulder, where I go to school.
