I am at a bit of a loose end right now- there really doesn't appear to be that much I can actually do in prep for next year. Oh don't get me wrong, there's alot to actually do, but until I get a clear idea about timetable, groups etc I can't do very much. I know I will need to re-write SoWs and think up different things but can't yet. Rubbish.
Something which was not rubbish was Ed and Kathys wedding adventure this weekend. Was lovely and I really liked the Vicars Homily- it made me feel better. I always feel a bit down when I hear the hymn of love- by the end of it I almost convince myself I don't love anyone.
The dress, the food, the everything was lovely, I really enjoyed it and I'm glad it went well for them both.
The fens are really flat (well, dur) and they don't appear to have discovered cats eyes for the roads. This made the drive rather trying for Dan who coped admirably. Thankyou Dan!
Had Alex moving stuff in on Sunday- so it has brought lodgery goodness one step closer. Better circumstances would have been nicer but purely on a selfish note I am looking forward to Alex moving in.
And after a few hours of cleaning the garage it is nearly in a state where it's nearly organised! We have far too much LRP kit. Del no longer smells like wet dog. We are possibly going to be the only people with armour stands in our garage.
Tonight is organising the massive pile of DIY stuff we have aquired and cleaning dressing room.
Tomorrow is a Black shield meeting
