17:08 - Sunset at Lancaster- the view from my window-

It's Wednesday. I just finished going food shopping so I have food now and it makes me really happy. I'm still missing a few things, but I can get those a bit more locally.
I also realized that when I was calculating my expenses and how I'd pay for them myself, I didn't take the whole 'conversion' thing into account because I'm silly so I have significantly less money than I thought I did which puts me in a bit of a predicament.

I found a Habadashery! They sell craft stuffs and ribbons and buttons. Habadashery... Isn't that the coolest word ever?
I also found out that I don't like limited edition chocolate digestives with orange- it starts out good, but then leaves a terrible, acidic taste in ones mouth, which I'm assuming is the orange part trying to exist in contrast with the chocolate.

I went to the pagan meeting monday night. It was actually really cool. It has the most gender representation as any other thing I've been to, including classes. In the beginning they have some sort of workshop thing and then they all go down to the pub and talk. Monday's workshop thing was a lecture Q&A from the group's only druid, and a celtic druid at that, that grew up in Bristol, near stone henge. Apparently this girl has been hand-fasted (it's a pagan wedding ritual that symbolically ties the hands together that is apparently legally binding in Ireland) for a year and a day to the group's only Shinto: a happy irish-looking kid. I didn't ask what everyone was, but I know one's a Wiccan, at least, and there's a few that called themselves 'heathens', who I believe are some sort of Norse/Viking. They're all very passionate, knowledgeable and fascinated with religion. At the pub (where I didn't buy anything), they started talking about this one little village in Japan that lives up on this mountain that the Shinto religion says is where the dead go- this one little village apparently had it's own Shogun bad in the Medieval age, doesn't pay tax, and it super highly secretive and exclusive 'cause it's like a mini secret death cult group. Apparently they did some excavating up there recently and found some stuff from, like, 900BC and the groups was all like 'woh!'. The married Shinto guy is going to get a copy of the report from it, so I'm hoping to sneak a peak at it to ^^ 'cause that sounds crazy awesome.
Also, within the first ten mintues of me arriving at this group, I got into an Anime/Manga conversation, a vampire conversation, and a Legend of Zelda conversation. It's a huge group of nerds. I was also talking to this one small, 18 year old dude who had declared himself a heathen a year ago who looked just like Merry from Lord of the Rings... Billy Boyd? It was really funny. A few asked me who I was, but I told them I was just interested in learning. I'm not sure if it's safe for me to talk in these things seeing as my dislike of peoples who declare their religion to be the best or better than another, I've researched as many religions as possible in such a way that it really breaks down and destroys a lot of basis for bragging... There's no love lost from me for religion. I still like them, it just keeps people from making a big deal out of what they believe, which can upset people. So for all intensive purposes, I'm just there to listen.

Tuesday I went to a religion seminar where we got talking about vampires and otherkin (which I have nonfiction books on) several times. Then I had to do a reading for my next lecture which I went to an hour later, and then I went to the writer's guild at 6 so I didn't get to eat dinner until about 7:30, not that I had much dinner to chose from.

And today I went shopping, failed to find a simple, cheap white apron (which is rediculous! I found striped ones and ones that said things like 'hot mama' on them, but no just plain white ones!), put all my stuff away, came back and was about to try to do my laundry for the first time, when I realized I didn't have enough change. So while I'm trying to think of a way to remedy this situation, I'm writing to you all.

Love you guys! I'm going to try to write those letters now! I keep forgetting to write to y'alls <3
