it's been a hectic week
GAH!
We've taken Hugh's mom, Joyce, to the hospital twice now for breathing and back problems, to which they found no diagnosis and sent her home with Vicadin and an antibiotic "just in case". Yeah, ER trips aren't fun. So now, because of the Vicadin, I'm playing chauffeur for Joyce to and from dialysis. Not that I mind taking care of family, it's just inconvenient and I feel like bitching.
Garrett and Hippie left on Wednesday to live in Oregon. Hugh's pretty bummed. And of course, this happened just before the 2 ER trips.
Oh, and I've been super pissy/emotional because I'm on the rag. Grrr. I even missed Thursday at work because I was puking because of it (not to mention the stress of a ER trip that had me out till 2 a.m. the night before). I guess it's a good thing tho, since we had to be right back at the ER that afternoon. Then Friday school was cancelled, so I didn't have to go into work. I feel bad leaving Lydia with the kids all day when I'm supposed to be there, but goddammit, it's not been my week. I was so stressed that Thursday night when we went grocery shopping I cried cuz I couldn't afford a special treat for me and Hugh-- donuts. And somehow, that was the breaking point. It's funny now, crying over donuts, but it was everything that built up in 2 days. I slept all day Friday and then went to game at Lydia's. That's been the highlight of my entire week. Game was a great unwind time for Hugh and I-- an escape, if you will.
After game I stayed up all night online so I didn't sleep through my alarm to take Joyce to dialysis. During my IM convos I got really depressed and thought of suicide the entire time due to stress. I doesn't help that the friend I was talking to was depressed and suicidal as well. I'll get better, I know I will... it just hurts for now.
Tonight is Tom's birthday and we're going out to Kaysan's 5th Down to celebrate. The Staggerers will be playing as well and Hugh's playing tonight for once. Yay! Hopefully this is the upswing to start next week with. Until the party I'll be sleeping, so...
