It just gets better...
As of 2 minutes into the new year, Hugh and I got engaged!!! He got down on one knee and gave me his mother's wedding ring, which she wore for 20 years until her husband died. I feel so honored. :)
I'm up to my ears wedding planning, but it's all good. :) The wedding date is September 27, 2008 at 3:30 p.m. We're hoping to get the Botanical Conservatory, but we're still checking into it. Otherwise our options to check out are the Unitarian Universalist Church, Foster Park, or Franke Park with a rain site of Pine Valley Country Club. The reception will be at Pine Valley Country Club with house wine and beer and a dinner buffett. I'll post more as I know more. Oh, and my dress is absolutely gorgeous! I'll admit I overpaid for it, but it's so perfect I wouldn't change a thing! On Sunday the bridesmaids and I will be shopping for bridesmaid dresses.
The wedding party is as follows:
Maid of Honor- Kendra (duh!)
Best Man- Garrett
Bridesmaids- Ashley and Lydia
Groomsmen- Erik and Tom
In other news, the babysitting job is going quite well. It definitely keeps me on my toes, but I love the girls dearly and wouldn't trade this for better pay or less hours. *Love to Lily, Naomi, and Lydia!*
