I'm an American who has been studying in Britain for the last 2 months, and I've accumulated a lot of change. I know that if you bring a container of change to most American banks, they will convert it into bills. My question is, do British banks do that as well? Exchanging change into 1 and 2 pound coins, 5s, 10s, 20s, whatever?
