Married

Fiction Drabbles
I'm going back to school next semester. I'm 15 credits away from a B.A. in English, and it seemed a little silly to be this far in debt (so very, very, very in debt) without even a piece of paper to show for it. I think I actually have The Flu, swine, bird or otherwise. Intermittently spiking fever since yesterday at 6pm, chills, full body ache, and cough. I feel like crud. I left work at 1230am last night after making the unwise decision to not call off in the first place. When I was driving through Pittsburgh the other morning, there was just enough fog left wrapped around the buildings and the ground, and the sky was clear, and the sun was blinding... I have been to Glastonbury, but I did not climb the tor. I also missed most of the yoghurt-weaving hippy pagan freaks because their shops hadn't opened by the time we left (... which, ok, judging by the views in the windows? was someting I would have done only for the slightly horrifying novelty since MOST of it looks like horrifying, cloying crap ( Read more... ) -

One of my patients last night happened to be Paul Gross.
The fact that the man was old, bald, had Parkinsons & dementia, and was certainly Not Canadian did not in any way detract from the fact that I had 32 Down on the Robert Mackenzie playing, AT VOLUME, in my head.
