I looked on the archives and didnt see much help for exactly what i want.
Story: i won a bet.. 400 pounds with a friend of mine in the UK and really want the money so i can buy a ticket to go visit.
psoblem: I dont know how to get it. He wants to send a check which according to the prior posts would need to be made into usd. Is there any other way to do it online. we tried the pay pal thing but it just sat there pending and then went back down to his account. or are there like wester union type things?? is that actually doable. I dont even know how those work. other pay pallike things would be great. or maybe someone knows a lot about paypal and can tell me reasons why it would do that.
