I am so excited and my day has just gotten a gazillion times better!
I put in an application for the dorms at Channel Islands. I love where I live, but I think the dorms would be an awesome opportunity to meet new people! Well I just randomly checked my email and had an email from housing. I had some questions, so I emailed them a couple of weeks ago. I was think that they were finally answering my questions.
But it was my acceptance into housing.
Now I have to figure out how I'm going to tell Jaime that I'm not planning on living with her. I just told her last week that as of then I was planning on staying with her in the fall. She gave me a deadline to let her know and not knowing when I would hear anything about the dorms. i said that I planned on living with her because I didn't want to lose this room in case campus housing never came through. I never told her even about the application in the first place... it was just something that I did and didn't want anyone to try to talk me out of it.
I have to have my agreement along with my $1000 deposit in by next friday.
now if I can get a work study job on campus, I'll be set! I have so much open time fore a job next fall, its crazy. I will be in class on tuesdays from 9am to 5:45pm with only 15 minutes max between classes. And thursdays from 3:30 to 5:45 pm with 15 minutes between the two classes.I may change my schedule now since I have a space in housing and most if not all the classes I need are still have space.
I'm already envisioning how I want to set up my room and what i am going to want to get. I'm freaking out a little because I have no freakin clue how I am going to tell Jaime or even when to tell her. I can tell her now and have it be weird for the next week or I can tell her right after I move back home for summer. I'm going to post the room being available in a couple of the Channle Islands groups I belong to on myspace, but I can't do that till I tell her because I don't know if her daughter belongs to any of them.
I know that no one probably reads my livejournal, but this isn't something I can really post on myspace yet.
And I justed talked to my brother and i may be going to San Francisco again! My uncle invited us up for Memorial Day weekend. My cousin joined the Marines and is leaving in the beginning of June, so they are having a big party for him.
Plus he's doing bootcamp at MCRD(I think thats the place), so his family is coming down for that and my uncle told me that I was going to have to come down for school for that.
