This weekend was absolutely amazing!
I think it was time to get away for a little bit. I was falling
into the same boring routine and this weekend was change. Change
is good....very good. The funny thing is that I didn't hang out
with anyone this weekend. I mean anyone from Saginaw. I
always thought that every Friday and Saturday had to be spent with "the
group". I was oh so wrong. Things are alot different this
year. Don't get me wrong, I love my friends. But, I think I
am finally figuring out who those people are. Anyways, back to my
amazing weekend...
Friday - Volleyball pictures then practice. We did all team stuff and I really like the team. They are all nice and extremely funny. I am really excited for the season. Even benchwarming. Only downfall of the weekend was after practice that night. I felt horrible and went straight to bed after practice.
Saturday - I had to get up a bit early for our scrimmage in Alma. The car ride was sooo much fun. The girls were singing christmas carols the whole time. And off key. We called our coach and started singing to her, but we couldn't stop laughing so she hung up on us. After the scrimmage I came home for a little bit and then headed out to Frankenmuth. The whole time was effing AMAZING! I love Whit and her friends and Frankenmuth. The dances there are a lot different...but another good different.
Sunday - Chruch with the Townsends then home. Back out for All-Stars and then another meeting. Then I had to leave again for the Boars Head. That was really good too. I haven't gone in like three years and it was really nice. I got to see my childhood friends. People I grew up with and probably know who I am better then any of my friends now. It's crazy how life works!
