upcoming weekend - Timberland Valley DFA
Bubbles again in Open Bitch. Eri is coming with us and we're staying in Olympia with Jo who owns Eri's uncle Enslow. I showed Ensie to his Ch. and it's always fun to visit with them. He is a lovely boy who does mostly herding although he has his RA title as well and is most of the way to two novice agility titles. Jo is in her eighties so Ensie has a whole village of handlers: me for conformation, Jo's daughter for Rally and agility, Chris for herding. He loves being handed off to other people because he KNOWs something fun is going to happen. I just have to be careful he doesn't whack against my face too hard when he crawls all over me for his cuddles..he doesn't have much personal space *lol*
Eri was with me at work today. At "lunch" I popped Brin's service dog vest on (yes, he's big enough that it fits!) and we went off to Macy's to pick up something they were holding for me. He was wonderful in the store. He still pulls a bit while we're just out walking around the streets, but once we get to a 'destination' he's really awesome at settling down to wait for me to be done.
Then I brought him and the manners minder up to the office. I worked on shaping him to get into one of the office chairs. I did show him once that he would fit up there. But other than that, it was all free shaped. I also worked a bit on all four feet in the top of a box. He is getting better at the whole free shaping game. He would still rather have the answer handed to him on a platter though!
