this weekend in Albany

While a bunch of you lot were doing agility, I was wearing panythose and showing those floofy breed dogs again!  Bubbles was the only one entered for whom I was entirely responsible this weekend.  I've been trying to make sure I only have one breed dog at a a time after the high drama of swapping off dogs at the Portland shows.  Bubbles went WB and BOW both days for a single point each.  That puts her up to a whole 3 points toward her championship.  Sunday's judge gave her a good, long look for BOB against Kiwi.  Yay Bubbles.  Yay me!

Eri went with on Saturday.  We spent time at the agility arena playing, visiting new people and taking treats in very close quarters.  He hung out in the crating area while I groomed and showed Bubbles.  Then we repeated our outing to the agility barn only this time we went on his show lead to the show area and added stacking to the list of things to pratice.  He was a rock star :-)

Sunday, it was Wren's turn.  She didn't have as good a result as Eri in the conformation area.  She's still having some trouble with getting way over threshold very quickly and not able to pull herself out of it very well.  After we worked a bit, we went over to the agility area and tried relaxing there.  She thought the people tearing down the ring were pretty neat. She was still not as relaxed as I'd like to see her (like not very!)  So we have a lot to work on.  But she was very good in her crate and around the grooming space.

When I got home I groomed Brin.  Reason #420 not to have a beardie.  When they lie out in the rain and it's coat blow season, grooming them at the end of the week is a bitch.  I wasn't done until almost 11:30 at which time they finally had dinner!
