New Fic - Dark Angel: A Pound of Flesh
Okay, so it turns out that today is the day of BigBang releases for me. :)
The smallfandom_bb website just went live.
For the next week or so, all the stories will be on the site only, and after that lifts, I'll post it to my fic journal, too. But I thought that maybe somebody might wanna read this before then, so I'm announcing and pimping. :)
The fandoms involved in the BB were Dark Angel, Hewligan, Riddick, Castle, and Eureka. Here's the main site - The Small Fandom BigBang Archive
Now, my story... I was lucky enough to get not just one, but two pieces of art - a "cover" type piece and a trailer. Both of them blow me away just by existing, because now that it's all over, I can admit that my fic sat unclaimed by an artist for 8 of the longest days in my entire fandom life. Every day I checked, sometimes 6 or 7 times, and every time I saw it still sitting there, I just wanted to come here and cry, it hurt so bad.
But, I couldn't. Because I had to stay anonymous! *cries in memory*
And then along came seramercury and forcryinoutloud, and they made me the most amazing things. And I can't even begin to express my gratitude to them. I'm still kinda processing it all, because I just saw them myself for the first time about an hour ago.

What begins as a search and rescue mission to recover a missing X5 will become a battle for survival - one that pits Alec against his own failing body and fractured mind.
