The time has come, the walrus said
The AlphaSite will not be coming back.
It's a hard decision, and one I've been wrestling with for months, even before I found out I'd been attacked by hackers while I was on vacation. And even though I'm not really producing anything worth noting in the SG1 fandom anymore, and haven't been for a long time, it's bittersweet. I've got a rather large part of the last seven years of my fandom life wrapped up in that site, and it's hard to let it go, but it really is time to do it.
In addition to being on The Pit, all of my fics are already moved over to my fic journal (brihana25_fic for those interested), I'm working on doing the same with my vids (which will be a combination of BAM and LJ, (I'm still trying to figure out what to do about the downloads), and will be doing the same with my wallpapers/fanart soon.
I'm going to keep the domain name, though, because I don't even want to try to change an email address that I've been using for seven years, but the site itself is being put to rest.
