What did YOU do this weekend?
I spent most of the weekend out of town in Springfield and St. Louis doing a little historical sight seeing with Mark. We drove down to Springfield on friday (took the day off). Saturday we visited all of the Abraham Lincoln-related sites and the Dana-Thompson house (a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright) in Springfield. Yesterday we visited the Cahokia Mounds in Collinsville, and then drove out to St. Louis to see the Arch. It was freezing the entire weekend. And now I'm sick with yet another cold. Luckily today is a holiday, and tomorrow I don't have to be at the school until 10:30 for conferences (although I don't participate in any....) so if I'm still sick it won't have any huge bearing on my being with the teachers.
