Lesson of the Day : Home is Where the Heart is aka Notes are a Pain to Organize

Jun 11, 2007 20:00

So. I've been here for three or so months EDIT : a year and a half now, most of that time spent when not getting sidetracked trying to find a way out again. There's not much information that can be readily found about exits, and what little is available remains rather discouraging and doesn't add up to very much, but I've compiled various bits, ( Read more... )

exits, post that ate the network, notes, finding a way home

This is all really well thought out.

I've got the feeling that the time difference between this place and the outside world is different for each world it's connected to, personally.

Well, hopefully it may do someone else more good than it's done for me, so far.

That would make sense. I wonder if time passes the same for people from the same world though, as they can come from different time periods.

I think it could be quite helpful. You've got some things here that I don't think anyone's said before--we've got print-outs of all of the writings people've made since this time last year or so, and some of this hasn't been mentioned before.

I've no idea. Most of the time, the City and all the other worlds don't seem to connect with any rhyme or reason that I can tell.

You have all that? That's quite impressive. I'm not really any sort of scholar or researcher, so the way I've been going about things is probably pretty scattershot. I'm not sure what I may be retreading or what may be new...

Everything here seems rather random at times. Perhaps someone else can see a pattern I'm missing.

This is very useful Riou, thank you. I...might have to look into some of the methods you listed.

Good luck, Futch! I guess best case scenario is that someone who's better at these sorts of things will be able to use the information to figure something out.

Flying out of here is confirmed to be a dead end...

Hit a barrier, fell out of the sky, ended up going nowhere, or did something else happen, if you don't mind my asking?

Barrier that knocked out my friend.

A whole lot of nothing, but very well organized. Thank you for arranging all this for our perusal. Such thorough confirmation of what may or may not have been already known is more than useful.

You've really put a lot of work into this. I'm only sorry that it hasn't provided you with a clearer answer, or better yet, a clearer exit.

Ah well, being stuck here, people have to find ways to pass time and this seemed the most beneficial for me. I only hope that it may be more helpful to someone else.

Sorry to hear that an enemy from your world seems to have recently appeared.

The most beneficial to many. It really makes me wonder what I've been doing with my time, seeing all that.

It's more than inconvenient. I will extend my warning to you, as well. I've little doubt that he would find the True Runes fascinating.

Researching into the clock and the end of all worlds would also seem to be a worthwhile undertaking. And this was the sum of three months or so of work, so not much to really look at in that light.

Luckily no one seems to have much interest in the runes, even after that display not so long ago. I'll certainly be more careful though, everyone and their dog knows I have Bright Shield back home, but I suppose there's really no need for the people in the city to know.
