Lesson of the Day : Home is Where the Heart is aka Notes are a Pain to Organize

Jun 11, 2007 20:00

So. I've been here for three or so months EDIT : a year and a half now, most of that time spent when not getting sidetracked trying to find a way out again. There's not much information that can be readily found about exits, and what little is available remains rather discouraging and doesn't add up to very much, but I've compiled various bits, ( Read more... )

exits, post that ate the network, notes, finding a way home

A whole lot of nothing, but very well organized. Thank you for arranging all this for our perusal. Such thorough confirmation of what may or may not have been already known is more than useful.

You've really put a lot of work into this. I'm only sorry that it hasn't provided you with a clearer answer, or better yet, a clearer exit.

Ah well, being stuck here, people have to find ways to pass time and this seemed the most beneficial for me. I only hope that it may be more helpful to someone else.

Sorry to hear that an enemy from your world seems to have recently appeared.

The most beneficial to many. It really makes me wonder what I've been doing with my time, seeing all that.

It's more than inconvenient. I will extend my warning to you, as well. I've little doubt that he would find the True Runes fascinating.

Researching into the clock and the end of all worlds would also seem to be a worthwhile undertaking. And this was the sum of three months or so of work, so not much to really look at in that light.

Luckily no one seems to have much interest in the runes, even after that display not so long ago. I'll certainly be more careful though, everyone and their dog knows I have Bright Shield back home, but I suppose there's really no need for the people in the city to know.

Yes, I understand there was quite a commotion before I arrived, regarding the end of all worlds and said clock. It's something, though, isn't it?

I do wonder why, as that display had a rather unappreciated effect. That would be wise. That man really must be avoided.

Yes, apparently not the first time either. I know some people involved in the previous End of the Worlds plot have gone on an expedition to check on the clock mechanism, whose findings I'm very interested in seeing.

Most of the people from my world seem to tend to keep to themselves and the true rune bearers tend to be more... discreet. I think most people don't realize that there's a rather big difference between a true rune and the runes being sold in the City. It's probably best that it remains that way.

[[OOC : Don't mind me filtering something to myself, apparently. Because the names 'Riou' & 'Ishida' are so easy to mix up! ^^;]]

Queer. Yes, I would be interested in that as well. I should like to embark on a similar expedition myself, though, it might be redundant.

Agreed. It would be best that if that man knows of the runes, which, having read Kurotsuchi-san's notes no doubt he does, he does not think much of a True Rune over a rune sold in that shop. I will have to review the notes she left with me.

[ OOC: I have warded things to my own characters many times.. and also persisted in making the same damn spelling mistake! ]

I spent quite awhile not so long ago exploring the Underground myself, but I'm afraid I didn't know exactly what I was looking for. The lower levels down there are like a maze... a monster-riddled maze.

She takes notes that detailed? We spoke once but-- Outside of that last battle, the only runebearers who'd really use their powers are the healers, most of which have left the city by now. And then there is what happened during curses, although I never really noticed anyone paying much attention to our group even then. At the time, there's probably many with more flamboyant powers to catch their attention.

[[OOC : If you mispell it enough, maybe you'll start a trend to change its spelling! XD]]
