This really just sums up the whole problem with “privilege” and people not recognizing the blessings they’ve been born with. You can’t see your privilege because you’ve just never looked at how problems that other people face don’t happen for you because of your race, gender, sexual orientation, economic background, religion, etc. Just because you’re not being discriminated against, doesn’t mean that someone else, who is different from you might be facing discrimination that you don’t even see, because you’re different people.
