Hot shower is hot

So showers around Frogholm have been somewhere between tepid and lukewarm for way too long. I'd assumed that either the neighbors were using up all the hot water or that the water heater was failing again (It's happened at least once or twice in the 10 years I've lived here). The plumber came yesterday and stuck his thermometer in the water

There is nothing quite like the joy of a scalding hot shower. The house in Maine has a tankless, propane water heater, and that thing continuously throws hot-as-balls water. I love it.

The water at thehouse in Maine is bad for your skin, but when it is nice and hot, you don't give a damn, especially at the end of a long day doing construction.
