The Most Important Girls Of My Life In One Room
So last night, Kelly, Kristen, and my good friend girlfmkitty came by my apartment to meet Murphy, and let me tell ya, Murphy is a hit. girlfmkitty brought her some toys, and she went NUTTY for the ones with catnip on them. Murphy got along with everyone, and vise versa. She especially seemed to like girlfmkitty, sitting in her lap and letting her rub her tummy. Overall, I'd say Murphy is gonna be a celebrity. Now all I have to do is take her to the vet to be checked out, which I am doing next Thursday.

Now, I have to admit to being a little nervous. This weekend I'm spending most of it, if not all of it, at Kelly's, and I feel weird leaving Murphy alone for a couple of days. I'm told if I leave her plenty of food and water (which I did), some music playing (which I did), and a light or two on (which I did), that she'll be fine, but I still have this dog mentality of having to walk her and check on her every night. I think she'll be fine, but I'm still a touch nervous about leaving her alone. I know she'll be safe, though, so that's good.
Anyway, I'm finding I'm liking being a cat assistant very much, and feel very blessed to be chosen by such a sweet and affectionate kitty. I can't wait for more of ya to meet her. :) Hope y'all are shiny. :)
