OMG: Richard Jeni Commits Suicide!
This is what happens when one doesn't have internet access at home. I just found out that one of my favorite stand-up comedians (one that I've actually seen live and MET IN PERSON), was found with a gunshot wound to his head on Saturday, and died later at the hospital. According to a statement by his family on the official Richard Jeni website, he took his own life. Recently he was diagnosed with severe depression, and this is being put as the cause.
