House MD - - 4.01: "Alone"
Season 4 of House MD began yesterday and I am so excited! That was truely a wonderful episode. There was so much subtext that my head almost exploded.
Things I liked and my thoughts:
1. I can't believe that House used the janitor to bounce ideas off off. Ok well I do believe he would do that. Dr. Buffer: That's so cool.
2. That guitar is awesome, and I love when the show started off with House playing.
3. Did anyone else think the opening scene looked dreamy, and the building collapse fake? I don't mind at all though.
4. "Or maybe Lupus. My grandmother has Lupus." -Janitor. I bet that really made House mad, but it was so funny.
5. The Janitor who I will call Dr. Buffer, was just too nice. When he put his hand the the boyfriends shoulder he reminded me of Cameron, and her (stupid) niceness.
6. Dr. Buffer has principles, but he'll throw them out for nothing less then $50.
7. It was so cute when Wilson thought House was actually going to take him to a restaurant. :)
8. "I'm sure it looked easier on You-tube" -Wilson
9. Wilson clipping the tie coupons.
10. "It's been a while since a patient took a swing [at you], can I watch?" -Wilson
11. Wilson was the best in this episode!!! His kidnapping ideas were just awesome, and gave my story ideas. What a smart idea to disguise his voice by using a fan.
12. I liked when House tricked Wilson into cleaning/inspecting the patience's home for him.
13. Cuddy backs House up about anti-depressants idea. -- I just liked that scene.
14. I laughed so hard when House received the Kidnapping photo. "I'm not dead yet."
15. White board. I love the white board prop, it's great. I liked when House had written on every available space on the white board.
16. "Tone it down or I'll hit you." -Cuddy
17. House is wearing glasses :)
18. Wilson is wearing casual clothes :)
19. I really like the male nurse, he was so mean to Wilson.
20. "Are you erasing my Tivo?!" -Wilson
21. "Where did you come from?" -Cuddy
"Apes if you believe the democrats" -House
22. 8-ball
23. "Are you here to enable me? :)" -House
24. Guitar piece. Wilson is an evil genius! "...Have you ever tightened a guitar string? ... Almost like a scream. Eeeeeeeeeeeee" -Wilson
25. House stealing Wilson's patient. That old guy was weird.
26. Cuddy tells House what she thinks, after she said she would no longer enable him. I liked that Cuddy helped out in this episode, but she seemed to have a whole lot of free time. Maybe she has nothing else to do, and Getting House to work is the biggest problem.
27. I like when House is in the ER. Everyone is ignoring him, but he's still talking. Not sure if I like the ER girl. She was sort of like Cameron (and maybe Foremon), but she also seemed to have the 'I don't care' thing going on. I'll have to watch the scene again, to see if she might be similar to Cameron. We can't afford another annoying girl.
28. I'm not so sure how I feel about the team coming back. House's been doing good, and if the team is away then there's more attention for House, Wilson and Cuddy.
Overall: Wilson rocked in this episode. The House/Wilson interaction was great. Wonderful story/case. It was a great season opener.
