Yesterday I didn't do much, just had a relaxing time, managing to chat with a few friends on IM. Then I watched a bit of Babylon 5 before Purr got home from work. She and I relaxed, talking and doing a bit of RP just before bed. Our RP is actually turning out a lot better than it used to. At that time, I'd been feeling a lot less in control of other areas of my life, and was subconsciously using my RP experiences as a way to try to gain some form of control. Now, I'm finding myself more empowered, and thus it makes it easier to allow certain things to take place without trying to steer them so forcefully in a given direction.
Today will be spent doing some clean-up around the house, getting things packed and ready for our vacation (which begins tomorrow and ends just after July 4th), and watching more Bab 5. I'm on Season 3, now, and commonly find it to be the season I don't care as much about as the others. But, there are a lot of subtle nuances and details in it to find that makes the rest of the series make more sense. I guess the biggest reason I don't like it is because of the deeper polarization of "good" and "bad"/"shadow" and "light" (or Vorlon) that comes into play. I prefer the more subtle influences of trying to determine what's right and wrong, good or evil.
I'm also going to be trying to get the timeline finished up for my game-world, now that I've rehashed it and figured out the order of events and the length of time for given wars and other such things. But that all depends on whether or not I get done with the other tasks at hand for today.
