Tonight has been bad movie/good movie night.

Bad movie: Rush Hour 3
Yeah, I know, what did I expect? Well, the first two were at least entertaining and moderately funny. This one, not so much either of these. It's like Ratner took all his fun/story/emotion-sucking skills from X3 and transferred them over to this movie. Except the Rush Hour series didn't have as far to fall as X-Men. I don't know if that makes it easier or harder to endure.

Good Movie: Bullets Over Broadway
I kick myself for never seeing this movie before. It's not fantastic or truly brilliant, but it is very good - highly entertaining, well-written and wonderfullly acted. I'm not the biggest fan of Woody Allen, but he's got some good skills and occasionally they work well.

And seriously, why is there not some 22 year old illegitimate boy-child of John Cusack running around out there for me to have a torrid romance with? Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't argue at all with the genuine article. If it came down to my choice of brat-packers and their comrades it would be a throwndown between Cusack and Anthony Michael Hall. I just feel the world (and by 'world' I mean 'me') lost out on the opportunity for him to pass his genes on to someone of the male gender who would be able to lead a new generation in experiencing the magnifience of being he that is called 'Cusack.'
