I'm a terrible correspondant and a terrible friend, but I think I'm back!

Apr 02, 2010 00:33

I wandered back here after, what, 7 months, looking for someplace to find shoebox_project, since it's never been restored since it was hacked (it's here, incidentally), and couldn't resist flicking to my flist. My head is spinning and I'm a little bit dizzy - that first heady hit of a drug after a long time away. I missed it here! I can't believe I stayed away for so long! I need to ease myself back in - part of the reason I've been away is because I couldn't face that huge, overwhelming task of coming back. But I'm going to trim some of my communities (icons, especially) and find a way to make it work, because really, that was just silly.

And now I need to reestablish myself. Guys, tell me all about EVERYTHING.

Things That Happened to Me
- Had a lit class with Emma Watson. Very nice, not stuck-up at all, but dead boring - no sense of humor. It's actually rather sad. But she is very pretty and quite smart.
- Started watching Glee. OBVIOUSLY. And Community. And Castle (which I still think is Bones Lite, but Nathan Fillion is adorable). Stopped watching House and Lost (unless people are satisfied with the ending - then I might rewatch the entire series). Also watched Freaks & Geeks (almost done), Kings (LOVE), and Merlin (am halfway through season 2, and it is awesomely absurd). Am still dreadfully behind on Doctor Who, V, and Dexter.
- Turned 21. Was a very exciting time involving a little too much alcohol, a fantastic concert, and a painful fencing tournament the next day!
- Visited Montreal last weekend, and thus avoided being swept away in the Rhode Island flood.
- Was sent a copy of this week's and next week's episodes of Bones. (Ok, not personally - my radio station. But I got them! My boss saw that I was nearly in tears with longing and was like, "You need this.") Was kind of disappointed with this week's, especially as a back-from-hiatus episode, and haven't watched next week's yet, because then I won't have anything to watch THEN. But I will. And I'll give you a teaser if you like. :D (It's the HUNDREDTH episode. Whoo!)
- Am currently in horrors about graduating, and do not yet have a job. But I'm looking!

Oof. This is not an April Fools' joke. :P
