This is why my radio station would make an awesome TV show

I've been sucking at this again (it was easier to break the LJ habit than I'd anticipated and, frankly, hoped), but I actually had an impetus to share something as of this morning, so maybe this will get me back in the habit?

Panic! at the Disco (the remaining two members, Brendan and Spencer) were in the station this morning, and I got to meet them and take pictures with them. I shook their hands, and I was one of, like, three people here to do that! (We were all standing creepily outside the on-air studio while they were in there; it was exciting! But I recorded them for artist IDs to play on-air: the perks of being summer production director!) They're VERY cute in person, and they were very sweet. Brendan laughs easily, which I like. Brendan's kind of short, but gives the impression of being tall (and man, I love his voice), while Spencer's the opposite. And we took group pictures with them, and now I have a signed promotional photo.

It was a fun morning. This is the first HUGE band I've met: Ludo and the Dropkick Murphys are not as big, and while Cage the Elephant should be soon, I didn't really talk to them. Just awkwardly wound up in the background of a photo of guitarist Brad and laughed about it with him. (This was on Sunday: concert with Cage the Elephant, the Airborne Toxic Event, Metric, and Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine. AWESOME show. Cage the Elephant is fucking fantastic in concert.)

Man, I feel silly. But it was so exciting!
