A small trip?
Ah, work and family has been keeping me pretty busy during this time off from class. It's been a bit of a trial trying to get both Noé and Akaya plus all the puppies situated here. But...it looks like everything has settled down finally. I'd been kinda worried there for a while as to whether everything would really be okay even though Akaya was away from that house, but it seems we'll be alright now. And...I feel I kind of need to thank someone for that. A few someones, I think. But it feels less honest saying it over a computer. I'll have to speak to them in person. Okaa-san says you should always thank someone if they do right by you. No matter who it is, no matter the reasons. And well....Okaa-san's always right. Even in her strangest moments, she's always right. ^^
Aside from that, work has kept me occupied. We didn't have enough saved up yet to take another trip to Brazil for the break, and I'm not about to make my parents pay for both themselves and all of us. They can't really afford something like that, even though I get the feeling Okaa-san would do it anyhow if I let her. T_T; Plus with trying to get Noé used to Japan before it's time for him to start school here, it's not really a good time to be leaving.
But even so, it looks like we still might be able to do something special while we have the time. Because Noé brought up to Okaa-san and me that there didn't seem to be a whole lot of outdoor-related activities around here. Since he's prone to getting sick at times and ends up having to spend a lot of time stuck indoors, he's ended up trying to take advantage of things that were more adventurous and involved being outside. And then...um, that lead to us talking about horseback riding. >> As Akaya and Bunta could tell you, I, uh...really like horseback riding. But I'm not the only one! I got into it because of Okaa-san! She used to take me out horseback riding all the time when I was little and we still lived in Brazil! So we thought maybe Noé would go for something like that also. And that got him all excited about it, which got us excited, so we decided that maybe a trip with everyone out horseback riding would be a good idea. Now it's just a matter of convincing Otou-san. But Okaa-san's good at doing that, so I'm sure that'll be no problem. ^__^
[OOC: My dearest Aka-yon~ You made mention at one point of the boys making another trip out into the countryside during their break so Jackal could get his horseback riding fix on. I wanted to chat it out with you, but since I haven't seen you on in forever, I was worried the break would pass before they got a chance to go. >>; So I just went ahead with it and in the process, it kinda turned into something of a family outing. It seems Jackal's love for horseback riding is an obsession that runs in the family. ^^; Noé's already a little kid, but I swear both Jackal and his mother join him in becoming one when on horseback. XD;
And yes, that would be Jackal saying he needs to talk to both Sanada and Chinen. But no talking to Asiddhi, because Jackal is pretty much completely lacking in the spirit and demon-seeing department. >>]
