Christmas
Happy Christmas everyone !
Christmas Eve Welsh boy and I had a friend and her two kids over for dinner , as well as my younger sister and my mother and a friend of hers . Welsh made a really nice marinade for the turkey , sage, vodka, onion , olive oil and some other stuff . The stuffing had bacon and cashews and yummy spices and veg in it . Nuuummmmers ! Then ofcourse , glazed carrots , spicy pepper beans and all the whipped taters with artichoke and cream cheese and gravy and mm Im making myself hungry again ! Was sooo yummy !
Christmas Eve loot so far was some damned good belgian chocolate and a new mixer ( our last one died a looong time ago , poor Welsh has been doing everything by hand ! ) and a nice set of long stemmed shot glasses . Welsh boys parents got us a new vacumn cleaner and some stuff for Welsh Boy and a soft leather purse for me .
I think Welsh and I got to bed around 2 am and then his parents and family called at 9 am to wish us happy christmas as well !
Welsh Boys gift to me this year was the bestest ever ! Diamond studs set in white gold ! I love them they are sooo pretty . I got him Half Life 2 Collectors edition ( hes been ranting about it for over a year ) and War of the Worlds dvd . Now hes in the kitchen whipping me up some strawberry, and chocolate banana crepes !
We are off to the big brothers house for dinner today , Ive dished up a huge bowl of brocolli salad ( seeds/raisins/bacon/brocolli/dressing/spanish onion ) and a 4 layer black forest cherry cake covered and drizzled in melted chocolate !
I cant wait for the kids ( there will be 5 under the age of 5 ! ) to open up all their gifts ! : D
** Michelle thankyou so much for your gift of goodies : ) I got to sample one of your chocolate chip cookies ( how do you keep them nice and soft ?? ) and something that tasted like carrot cake , before Gordie got through it ! Thankyou again ! :D
