Offering both group and private lessons that focus on your needs and work with in your comfort zone, Mindful Mutts and Mongrels creates a positive, encouraging learning environment. Conveniently located on Queen Street E just off the 410, classes run Sunday afternoons.

One of their more unique classes is the "Kids and Mutts" program. This training class is designed with the younger handler in mind, and while guardians are expected to attend class, it is the children and young adults who do most if not all of the handling.

The regular leveled programs progresses in manageable increments allowing you and your dog to feel successful more often along the way than in standard training programs. Common commands trained includes sit, down, stay, leave it, loose leash walking, go to your bed, agility and tricks introduction, and much more. The programs also include theory portions, explaining different ways animals learn, tips and tricks of puppy hood, and various other important tidbits.

These classes are also open to individuals both young and old who may have special needs or abilities.
