It’s been a while since the last time I talked about comics here. Things have been slow in the comic-verse and I felt that commenting “Red Robin is so cool!!” once a month was not interesting enough.

I mean, yes, I’ve been following the events in all Batman books since RIP and it’s not been a total train-wreck, but…

Right now the most enjoyable read of DC Comics is still Red Robin, but Batman seems to be getting to the point. After two years of story telling we'll get to see what Morrison really had in mind. Now that most of us don't care anymore, true, but we'll get to see it ( Read more... )

Chris Yost arch on Red Robin finished this week with issue 12, and man, it's been a great ride. I've said it before, but it has been all perfectly prchrestrated from frustrated, angry and lonely boy who doesn't even know if he is crazy back to the well balanced young adult we readers knew and cared about. Not as epic as issue 10, cause they are building tension for next issue (end of arch, of quest and of Yost's run), but good nontheless. Good interaction with Dick and even Damian (in his own psychotich way), even if Tim belives Bats is trusting him even if he thinks he is crazy and in fact Dick has already discovered he was right...
