I find myself wondering why I didn't move my VMs to Linode years ago.  I had a root shell on a fresh Ubuntu 8.10 VM within five minutes of signing up, and am blown away be the featureset, even to the point of being able to choose one of four data centres to house my box ( Read more... )

VPSLand have been great while I've not needed support, but having had issues doing a dist-upgrade last night resulting in segfault's, it seems a support ticket opened 10 hours ago with an urgent priority is yet to be answered.

Looks like I'll be moving VM suppliers again, this is reeking of the crap I put up with when with JVDS years ago.
