First impressions of Linode
I find myself wondering why I didn't move my VMs to Linode years ago. I had a root shell on a fresh Ubuntu 8.10 VM within five minutes of signing up, and am blown away be the featureset, even to the point of being able to choose one of four data centres to house my box.
It will be interesting to see how the performance goes, first impressions are that it shits all over both VPSLand and JVDS.
Having done all that, YZ and I have no excuse in getting our (well, hers really) latest web project up and running :-)
